The reigning world champion, Iran, is back in the final. The Persians will be opposed to Turkey, running European champion on Sunday in male category. In female, France will live its 5th final in a row. The reigning World champion will fight against Japan on Saturday.

Final: Iran vs Turkey
Reinging world champion Iran will defend their crown on Sunday. Led by Ganjzadeh and Poorshab, Iran proved to be imperial in preliminary rounds. After defeating Italy 3-0 in the semi-finals, the Iranian fighters will face Turkey. The latter defeated Rafael Aghayev's Azerbaijan in the semi-finals, after beating Japan in the round of 16. Azerbaijan had created the first sensation of the day by dominating the Spanish team in the second round (3-1).
Others highlights of the day was Italy / Croatia in the round of 16 when we had to wait the 5th match in a crazy atmosphere and, also, the match Egypt / Ukraine. In the round of 16, Egypt also qualified in the 5th match because of Horuna's disqualification. Following is K.O, Stanislav Horuna was disqualified by referees because he put himself in danger by advancing his head without protection (…).

Bronze: Italy vs Senegal and Azerbaijan vs Japan
The men of the day : Senegal will aim bronze
After losing 3-1 to Iran in the round of 16, Senegal managed to qualify for the bronze medal. Winner of Armenia and Jordan (3-0), Senegal achieved the performance of the day.

For the fifth consecutive time, the French women's team will be in the final of the world championships ! In front of them, we will find Japan, led by Ayumi Uekusa. With a great Leïla Heurtault, the French team won 2-1 in the semi-final against Egypt. Placed twice to bring the decisive point, Lea Avazeri did not tremble. Did the Japanese women experience cold sweats against Iran ? The Japanese team emerged from this winning the game at the flags.
