Asia 2019 - Kazakhstan / Tareq Abdesselem : "3 great Sensei ensure the smooth running "
He was trained by his father, was in the French national team, then coach in Thailand (2013-2015) and Indonesia (2015-2017). The helping results, he is contacted by Kazakhstan. In two years, Tareq Abdesselem helped make it one of the world's leading karate nations. At 32, the French became one of the coaches in sight on the international circuit. Who better than him to present us this new karate stronghold before the 16th Asian championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (July 19-21) ?

Asian Games / Japan and Iran ahead
Japan, thanks to its invincibility in Kata, finishes again at the 1st place of the nations’ ranking, in this case that of the Asian Games (August 25-27 in Jakarta, Indonesia). With 4 gold and 3 bronze, it is ahead of Iran and its brave fighters (3 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze). Taipei completes the podium with 3 gold, just ahead of China (1 gold). Asian Games 2018 / Japanese in the line of fire
The Japanese women armada is in place in Jakarta (Indonesia) for these 2018 Asian Games organized from August 25th to 27th. They are the favorites in almost every category. Asian championships / Japan on top
Iran will not have achieved its feat of 2013 : finishing 1st nation at the Asian championships that were just held in Amman, Jordan (July 13-15). Japan, with its 4 gold medals in Kata and 4 other ones in Kumite, leads the continent. With their 4 titles in Kumite, the Iranians however finish best fighters. Jordan, at home, ranks 3rd.

Asia / Grace Lau : "I love Ko Ryu style"
The 2015 Asian championships runner-up in Kata, Mo Sheung Grace Lau, has just completed five consecutive podiums in Karate 1, inflicting the first two defeats of her career to two-time World champion Kiyou Shimizu.
