Lithuania and Poland, with 3 gold medals in Kumite, dominated the European Shinkyokushin championships held in Vilnius (Lithuania) on April 13-14th ahead of Bulgaria (2 gold), Georgia and Azerbaijan (1 gold). All the podiums.

« Little Big Man », it's him ! 5.4 ft, 154 lbs, Kyokushin World champion in Openweight, you know, the category where the average weight of each fighter often exceeds the quintal. In 1991, Kenji Midori was the last unified World champion of the Masutatsu Oyama School, of which he was a close student. Since then, he has traced his own path and created the Shinkyokushin. Remarkable technician, outstanding fighter, he was visiting France at the invitation of his students.
