-60 kg : Pavlov, a winning mawashi geri

Emil Pavlov, the surprise guest of this -60 kg final, wins the Moscow K1 with a magnificent Mawashi Geri Jodan on Turkey’s Eray Samdan. Assadilov, who remained on 4th success in a row, was beaten for the bronze as the World champion Crescenzo.

Back in the final for the 1st time the Europeans last March, world champion Steven Da Costa wins gold again. Scoring the first point thanks to a gyaku tsuki jodan, the Frenchman was strangely denied a sweep 13 seconds to the end but scored a second tsuki to win 2-0 against Egypt’s Elsawy.

Author of a perfect final, the Georgian champion made a great sweep to Ganjzadeh and won 7-3.To be noticed, the disqualification of Horne and Anthokii in their fight for bronze for anti-sporting behavior. The Russian made hit which has nothing to do with Karate and the German answered.

After her marvelous success in Tokyo against Alexandra Recchia in the final, Iran’s Bahmanyar won her second K1 in a row. In a closed final, won 1-0 against Germany's Hubrich, Bahmanyar showed great maturity in her fight.
