Under the sun and the hot weather of Doha, the karatekas discovered a new type of tatamis. For the first World beach games, the karatekas make on sand their kata. With the same system of notation as usual, Sandra Sanchez and Damian Quintero won the first title.
In the final, the world 1 beats the Iranian girl Fatemeh Sadeghi with an 26,28 against 24,60.
On his side, Quintero beats Yi Wang from Tapeï, 26,40 against 24,94.
