The 1st World Team Championships will be held in Pamplona (Spain) from November 22 to 24, 2024. Here are the first qualified teams.

The Budapest World Championships marked a turning point in the history of Karate. They were the last to occur in this form. From now on, the world championships will be split in two, one part will be devoted to individuals and the other to teams.

We now know 20 nations qualified following the results of the World Championships in Budapest, where the medalists obtained their ticket to Pamplona.

Spain, as host country, automatically qualifies. Having finished on the podium in Budapest in women’s Kumite, women’s and men’s Kata, its place is allocated to Hungary, Morocco and Kuwait due to the substitution criteria.

The rest of the teams that will complete the selection will be designated through the continental championships (20 teams for EKF, 12 teams for AKF, PKF and UFAK, and 4 teams for OKF).
