More than 700 athletes from 28 countries are meeting from today in Tashkent (Uzb.) to compete in the Asian Championships (cadets to seniors) until December 20. All the informations.

Ÿ The event reaches its 18th edition in the Senior categories, the 20th in Cadet, Junior, and U21, and the 1st in Para-Karate

Friday 16 (today): Kumite cadet and Kata cadet and junior.

Saturday 17: Kumite Junior, U21, Para Karate

Sunday 18: Kumite Senior

Monday 19: Kumite Senior and team

Tuesday 20: Senior Kumite Finals and Team Kata tournament

 

Ÿ Iran presents the largest delegation with 62 athletes, followed by Japan with 61 and Kazakhstan with 60 competitors.

 

Ÿ In 2021, Iran topped the podiums with 39 medals including 14 golds. Kazakhstan and Japan won 32 and 10 medals respectively.
