He was not at 100%. He was first going to New York to get a good ranking thinking of the November World Open Tournament. For the 2nd time in 3 editions, France’s Antonio Tusseau (ACBB) won the All American Open (June 22). In the final, he dominated the # 1 in the ranking, Russia’s Ashot Zarinyan. All the results.

Congratulations ! It is as simple as this ! A "freestyle" preparation, a small hand injury contracted at the European championships... So what ? These are the kinds of things that Antonio Tusseau completely forgets when he gets to a tatami. Canada’s Allogho was the first to pay the French state of mind (Waza ari on a sweep).
What "Tonio" never forgets is to look for the KO, the Ippon. America’s Yuji Ishikawa has had this bitter experience in the quarter-finals (Shita tsuki, Ippon). In the ½ final, the French has appreciated having taken 10 kg in the last two years. He needed it to beat Japan's Kaito Nishimura (115kg).
In the final, Antonio Tusseau met Russia’s Ashot Zarinyan, the tournament ranked n°1, the finest finals possible since he was the n°2. He hit with a magnificent Hiza Jodan in the first part of the fight but it was not scored. In overtime, he completely suffocates his opponent. A magnificent preparation for the November World Open Tournament.
